LGBT vs Race Related Hate Crimes

I feel like race related hate crimes get way more press than LGBT hate crimes, even though LGBT hate crimes occur much more often than race hate crimes do. And this is San Francisco! Imagine other places. We need to do more to curb crimes against, intimidation of, and bullying of LGBT students in San Francisco high schools.

Hmmm that is an interesting comment because I actually feel like race hate crimes occur way more than LGBT hate crimes. And I think we need to curb crime against all students in general, not just LGBT students.

How come attacks against straight whites are NEVER classified as hate crimes?
