HANC Recycling Plant Closing

I was at Food for Thought this morning and learned that SF is thinking of closing HANC recycling center, which has been around for decades. It is an important part of our community. It brings in a little extra money for people who need it, it brings people together, and it ensures that San Franciscans are involved in keeping their city clean. It is a reminder for San Franciscans about the amount of waste we generate, helping us reduce our own carbon footprints and think about consumption. Learn more here.

There is a hearing this Monday, February 28th at 10 am at City Hall.

Reset community, what should SF do? What should happen to HANC?
