Storm Water Storing Systems Expand

Storm water storing systems are gaining more and more steam in San Francisco. Today the Unified School District announced it is expanding a program with the SFPUC. We have the potential to save millions of gallons of water using this storm water run-off capturing system.
It is ideas like this that we need to expand and support. A little goes a long way.

Besides collecting rainwater
Besides collecting rainwater for re-use, SF can also create a water harvesting infrastructure to try to prevent groundwater depletion. In a city with such a huge population for its surface area, it is important to try everything we can to prevent overuse of one of our most important natural resources.
