Happy Thanksgiving from Reset San Francisco! We are looking forward to enjoying turkey/tofurkey with friends and family this year. But while we are enjoying our delicious meals, it is important to remember all we have to be thankful for. It has been a tough few years for many we know, and many of our neighbors are in need. So in the spirit of Thanksgiving here are just a few charities around San Francisco — please consider making a donation to these or any of the wonderful charities doing good in San Francisco:

The San Francisco Food Bank

Until midnight on Thanksgiving Day, Visa will match any donation to the San Francisco Food Bank up to $30,000! So give as generously as you can, and your donation counts as double. The Food Bank is determined not to let anyone in San Francisco and Marin go hungry on Thanksgiving. In these tough economic times they will be providing meals to 36,000 families in need, more than they have ever distributed during the holidays. You can donate here.

Self Help for the Elderly

Many times seniors are the most economically vulnerable. Self Help for the Elderly helps provide social services and hot meals to more than 35,000 seniors each year in San Francisco, Santa Clara and Alameda. You can donate here.

Keen SF

Keen San Francisco provides free recreational opportunities to children and young adults with disabilities. You can donate here.

Project Night Night

Project Night Night delivers packages filled with books, blankets and stuffed animals to homeless children. They donate over 25,000 children’s books each year. You can donate here.
