Do I have to tag my Clipper Card on the Caltrain if I have a Monthly Pass?
You do not need to tag your Clipper Card every time you board the Caltrain if you own a Clipper Card Monthly Pass. You are only required to tag your Clipper Card at the beginning and end of your first ride of the month.
To tag your card correctly, tag your Clipper Card to the reader at the station prior to boarding the Caltrain. You are also required to tag your card on a fare reader at your destination Caltrain station.
