How do I report a homeless person who seems like they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol?
According to the San Francisco Customer Service Center, if the individual does not appear to pose an immediate harm to themselves or others you can call the San Francisco police non-emergency number at 415-553-0123.
However, if the individual is violent, threatening or acting in manner which might cause harm to themselves or others you should call 911.
