How will my Clipper Card be charged if I travel outside the zones on my monthly Caltrain pass?
Once you have tagged your Clipper Card to confirm the Caltrain zones you loaded on your monthly pass, any travel outside the Caltrain zones authorized on your monthly pass will require that you purchase an upgraded ticket at a Caltrain vending machine. You can also pay cash by tagging your Clipper Card when you board and exit Caltrain.
