What is Bay to Breakers?
Bay to Breakers is one of the world’s oldest 12k races. Bay to Breakers – was first held on January 1, 1912. Bay to Breakers is annually in San Francisco, California. The race is called Bay to Breakers because participants run or walk the racecourse from The Embarcadero (the "bay" side of the city) to the west of the city at the "breakers" of Ocean Beach.
