A list of volunteering opportunities at the San Francisco public libraries is available here.

Volunteers over the age of 18 will need to contact the Volunteer Program Coordinator for information. The application process may take up to one month.

Volunteers under the age of 18 will need to complete the Youth Volunteer Application and return it to the designated library. Youths can also volunteer for the KidPower / Summer Reading program from June to August by contacting their local library branch.

For more information, the San Francisco Public Library Volunteer Services office is open from 9-5pm during weekdays. The office is located on the 6th floor of the Main Library.
