The last day to request to vote by mail (absentee) in San Francisco for the November 8, 2011 election is November 1, 2011. Applications for vote by mail (absentee) ballots must be received by the San Francisco Department of Elections by 5:00 p.m. The date the application is postmarked is not accepted.
