To be eligible for the Police in the Community (PIC) Program offered to first-time homebuyers by the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing (MOH) applicants must meet a number of requirements. Most notably, applicants must be purchasing their first home in San Francisco and must be currently employed full time by the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD).

Applicants must also meet income requirements (debt-to-income ratio cannot be less than 33% of household’s gross income) and complete a first-time homebuyer education course. The five agencies offering the first-time homebuyer education course can be found here. Further details regarding eligibility for PIC can be found here.
