A San Francisco man woke up to find two men rummaging through his Haight-Ashbury home early this morning while he and his roommates slept, police said.

Police responded to the home, located in the 1600 block of Page Street, after the hot-prowl burglary was reported there at 4:30 a.m.

The 26-year-old man woke up and noticed a flashlight beam in his house, police said.

He then saw two men going through a suitcase.

That is when both suspects, believed to be in their 20s, fled.

A laptop was reported missing by one of the man's two 23-year-old male housemates, as was a cellphone and wallet, police said.

No injuries were reported.
