Motorcycle Collision Blocks 3 Lanes of Southbound Highway 101

A motorcycle collision is blocking the three left lanes of U.S. Highway 101 in San Francisco this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A Sig-alert was issued at about 6:25 a.m. for the collision on southbound U.S. Highway 101, near Silver Avenue.

The three left lanes of southbound U.S. Highway 101 are blocked and motorists are advised to avoid the area, according to the CHP.

The cause of the collision and the condition of the motorcyclist has not been released.
