Man Critically Injured In Mission District Shooting Tuesday

A man was critically injured in a shooting in San Francisco's Mission District on Tuesday afternoon, police said today.

The shooting was reported around 3:20 p.m. near 24th and Harrison streets.

The 37-year-old victim was walking when two suspects ran up and shot him in the stomach, according to police.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are considered life-threatening, police said. The suspects fled and had not been found as of this morning, according to police.
