Woman Critically Injured in Tenderloin Stabbing

A woman was found critically injured from a stabbing in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood on Thursday night, police said today.

Officers responded to a 911 call around 8:30 p.m. regarding a woman who had collapsed on the sidewalk in the 400 block of Turk Street and suffered multiple stab wounds to the torso, according to police.

The 45-year-old victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for her injuries, which are considered life-threatening, police said.

No arrests had been made in the case as of this morning and no detailed suspect description was immediately available from police.
