How do I find out when my building in San Francisco was built?
You can find out when a building in San Francisco was built by submitting a record request to the Department of Building Inspection.
You need to request a copy of the Certificate of Final Completion and Occupancy of the original new construction permit. You can download the record request form online or pick one up at the Public Information Counter.
