I am not a US citizen. Can I get help paying for childcare or day care in San Francisco?

According to the Human Services Agency, you may still be eligible for help paying for day care in San Francisco. Many immigrant families are eligible for help with child care costs in San Francisco.

San Francisco funds childcare subsidy programs and Preschool for All, which provides free part-time preschool for 4 year old children.

All San Francisco children who will be four years of age on or before December 2nd are eligible for Preschool for All. There is not an income eligibility limit for families with a child in Preschool for All. There is not a requirement to provide proof of immigration status of the child or other family members for Preschool for All.
