What is the religious affiliation of the University of San Francisco?

The University of San Francisco was founded as a private, Jesuit and Catholic university and has maintained its affiliation since 1855. USF is the eighth largest Jesuit-affiliated university in the nation and the tenth oldest university involved with the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities.
