BART Satisfaction

A new survey finds BART riders are slightly more dissatisfied with the cleanliness and higher prices.  How does the system remedy the fact that ridership is increasing, but revenues have been down in the past few years? 

Thoughts?

Kudos to BART for having that kind of customer satisfaction focus. In my experience they are the best local transit agency - and this kind of customer focus is probably why.

Now, if only they could fix the Clipper Card Disaster...

I have to say, that while I find BART to be an incredibly effective transportation system I wish that more was being done to stop panhandling by the ticket machines and on the train.  Of course, this is a citywide problem not limited to BART...

Demagnetizing?

My biggest problem with our BART system is the demagnetizing potential of the tickets - isn't there a way to build better protection against this happening? After a long day, the last thing on my mind is to ensure my cell phone and BART ticket are a safe distance apart.  I can't tell you how many times I've done this by accident.

A simple problem with, I'm sure, a simple solution. I'm thankful I have somewhere like Reset to voice my little concerns - and to know that I am being heard.
