SFMTA looking at expanding Transit Impact Development Fees
SFMTA is considering expanding its Transit Impact Development Fees from commercial to residential properties. Residential developments would be charged between $5,000 to over $11,000 per unit depending on its size. This would generate much needed revenue for SFMTA from $2 to $5 MM a year.
Is now the time to expand these Fees? What do you think?
