Stretching nearly 1000 feet towards the sky, Twin Peaks is the two hills that sit at the center of San Francisco. Named Eureka Peak and Noe Peak, the hills are the second highest point in the City after Mount Davidson. Based on their unique positioning, Twin Peaks’ west slope is generally covered in fog and hit by strong winds while the east slope sees more sun and warmer temperatures.

The neighborhood just off the western slope of Twin Peaks is Midtown Terrace and was formed in the 1950s. With Sutro Tower to the north and the section of Twin Peaks Boulevard that goes up to Twin Peaks’ viewing lookouts on the east, Midtown Terrace and Twin Peaks form a special part of San Francisco.
