According to the Mayor’s Office on Housing, San Francisco’s Section 8 housing program has a long waiting list, and the San Francisco Housing Authority is unable to accept anymore applications for the program.

If more space becomes available for the Section 8 housing program, the San Francisco Housing Authority will run newspaper advertisements and other outreach to notify people of the opportunity to apply.

For more information on the program, you can contact the Housing Authority.
