94104 Financial District
San Francisco's Financial District is the center of business activity, located east of Union Square, south of Chinatown and North Beach and just west of the Embarcadero. Since its rise to glory during the Gold Rush, the Financial District boasts some of San Francisco’s tallest buildings, including the Transamerica Pyramid, 101 California Street and 345 California Street – and was home to the first skyscraper on the West Coast.
Today the Financial District is the corporate headquarters for some of the nation’s largest financial actors such as VISA, Walls Fargo Bank, McKesson Corporation, and the Charles Schwab Corporation. To explore the area, take a stroll up Montgomery Street, often referred to as the “Wall Street of the West,” or head down Market Street towards the Bay.
