Public Safety

We are fortunate that San Francisco has seen a 10% drop in violent crime this year. But we all agree – we still have a long way to go to make every San Francisco neighborhood safe.

With 95% of homicide victims under the age of 25 or high school dropouts, how can we make our schools better and safer so young people stay in school and out of trouble? How can we use new technologies without losing our privacy rights? How can we put more police on the streets without putting more politics into public safety?

Hard questions. But resetting San Francisco public safety means finding the best answers.
