How do I report a homeless person sleeping in my doorway in San Francisco?
According to the San Francisco Customer Service Center, it depends on the situation.
If the individual is unresponsive and appears to be either sleeping, unconscious, injured. Call 911.
If the individual is responsive and being aggressive or threatening call 911.
If the individual is responsive, but acting non-threatening and seems physically okay, call the San Francisco non-emergency police number at 415-553-0123.
