How long does it take to register my business in San Francisco?
You can obtain a Business Registration Certificate within ten business days of when you first registered your business with the Office of the Treasurer & Tax Collector. If you are in a rush for a registration certificate, you can request a temporary certificate by calling (415) 554-4400.
You must also complete a New Business Information Form and return it by mail or in person to the San Francisco Assessor-Recorder’s office located at:
