How many San Francisco homeless live on the street?
According to the SFGOV 2011 homeless count, 3,106 of San Francisco’s 6,455 homeless did not live in shelters. Some of these unsheltered individuals and families live on the streets, as well as in cars, RVS, tents and other makeshift structures.
