To visit a juvenile at San Francisco Juvenile Hall parents or legal guardians must obtain a “visiting permit” from a probation officer before visiting.

The visiting hours of Juvenile Hall in San Francisco are 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM Sunday through Friday and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday.

Late night visits are also available Monday through Thursday. Late night visits need to be approved by the Assistant Director or Director. Late night visits are permitted for 30 minutes between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Each visitor to San Francisco Juvenile Hall must present a photo ID. Purses or bags are not allowed.
