What business incentive programs exist in San Francisco?
JOBS NOW! SF is one business incentive program which uses San Francisco city funds to subsidize employers who hire local residents. Employers can earn up to $5,000 for participating in the incentive program, and will put at least 2,000 San Francisco residents back to work. For more information on JOBS NOW! The Enterprise Zone (EZ) program was created to assist small businesses in struggling areas of our state economy. San Francisco has a local program, SF Local EZ Program, which provides a payroll tax credit for businesses that hire individuals from targeted groups.
