San Francisco Recreation and Parks states that Mt. Davidson is the tallest hill in our city, measuring a grand 938 feet. How can you tell you’re looking at Mt. Davidson? Look for the 103 feet concrete cross at the top of the hill. Closely behind Mt. Davidson is Mt. Sutro, measuring around 918 feet. To give you a sense of scale, Nob Hill is just 376 feet. Russian Hill measures 294 feet and Telegraph Hill reaches 284 feet.
