Reset is all about using technology to help improve and support the most important services, like our public schools. And truth be told, we don’t mind having fun either. That’s why we are definitely going to be a part of the first annual Support SF Public Schools Week from September 24 – September 29. To culminate the week, edMatch is partnering with The Go Game to organize a fun citywide Tech-Savvy Scavenger Hunt.

Teams of 4 or 6 will set out with smartphones to complete missions and learn more about San Francisco’s public schools. We will all meet outside City Hall at Civic Center Plaza, get introduced to the game, set off to explore the city to earn points, and return to City Hall for our own food truck rodeo. Off the Grid is one of the sponsoring partners! Way cool.

Sign Up for edMatch’s Tech-Savvy Scavenger Hunt on September 29 Today!

Sign up today – and join tech startups, educators, community leaders and friends for a fun-filled afternoon to complete creative missions in an interactive, real-life game – the more missions you complete, the more points you’ll win! You’ll have the change to snag some cool prizes too.

Did you know Benjamin Bratt graduated from Lowell High School, and Maya Angelou andDanny Glover graduated from George Washington High School? That’s pretty cool. Join the game and learn more cool, fun facts.

Join edMatch for the Food Truck Rodeo and Prizes After The Game

The scavenger hunt is being organized by edMatch, a nonprofit organization that challenges high-dollar donors to match funds raised by the community. Proceeds from the event will be distributed evenly across San Francisco’s 117 public schools. edMatch is working to engage parents, teachers, and other San Franciscans to get involved and to share ideas on how we can improve our public schools.

The afternoon on September 29 will conclude with music, awesome food trucks and a short awards ceremony. Your participation will help an important cause – supporting our public schools.

So… you can have fun and feel good after helping students get the extra resources they need to succeed. We all know how important education is to the future of our city, our state and our world – and in these tough times, when resources are limited, we need to tap into San Francisco’s innovative and compassionate community to participate on September 29.

Sign up now, join the game and help fundraise for our public schools. Invite your friends and get involved! Reset San Francisco will have a team too! Knowing us, after the game we’ll probably be hanging out by Chairman Bao or one of the other delicious food trucks. Come say hi!
